Our July Financial Goals Update and Our August Goals

Now that we are actually building the house and we have something that we can walk down and look at, touch, and see it is becoming easier to stick with our financial goals and to even push ourselves a little bit more in saving all that we can.

Our Motivation

Here are goals for July and an update on how we did:

1. Pay all of our July bills DONE
2. Pay off old debt (1,250). Close Visa account that we paid off last month DONE (Thank you Jesus for the ability to do this!
3. Fully fund our closing cost account (1,950) DONE! Again, all glory to God that we were able to accomplish this.

We were actually able to save more than the $1950 that we needed for closing cost so we are already ahead in our goals for August! 

August Goals:

1. Pay all of our August bills 
2. Save as much money as we possibly can save toward moving (we have to hire a moving company for a few hours to help with some very large and very heavy pieces of furniture), a refrigerator (our new house does not come with a refrigerator), ceiling fans, mini-blinds, and Tyler new bedroom furniture. 

Our goal is to save $1500 dollars toward these things. And I have a personal goal of finding a Groupon for our movers and saving as much money as possible on that expense.
